I was kind of wondering the same thing. For all he's trying to do right now(whether it will work or not) he's as close to a humanitarian that we've had lately, unlike the scum we've had in office the last two or three decades. Republicans are pissed because they didn't get their guy. Close minded religious types don't agree with the policies he wants to invoke. But, as far as a politician goes(since all of them suck regardless) he's a fairly good hearted individual. I don't necessarily agree with his choices as of late, but he's our guy right now. I did the same with Bush until that ship started to sink....did I say sink, I meant drop like a rock tied to a friggin' cinder block.

you say he is a humanitarian for all he is doing for people right now, or trying to do. but, hitler was trying to do things for his people too. he was trying to rid his land of 'disease' and grant his people a better standard of life. isn't that what everyone says obama is doing? trying to rid his people of disease, by working to a free health care system? and through that creating a better standard of life?

Besides, Obama is too weak to even get a public option through congress. Or so it looks right now. And that's with a fillibuster proof democrat majority, and polls showing 70-80% want the public option.
Btw, the 'option' part of it is there for a reason.

Let's compare.
Hitler: Killed hundreds of thousands of disabled people, killed millions of jews/gypsies, caused world war 2, killing up to 50 million people by some estimates.
Obama: ... killed a few hundred people in Pakistan through authorizing missile strikes. He might have killed a few more people, but I can't think of any right now.

Is this just a mindless swipe at the President? Hitler was a sociopath bent on the eradication of a race of people, nice try though. I said he was as close to a humanitarian as we have had, I didn't say he was one. Health care is very different than genocide. Do you even have any idea of what the plan he has in mind is? Personally, I don't agree with everything on it, but I'm willing to open my wallet to help someone, especially a child, survive. Does every person deserve it, hell no. There are always going to be people taking advantage of the system no matter what it is, but don't punish the helpless to get to the wicked. Be selfless, not selfish.

Oh dear Hitler had an intelligent populace to appease, and Obama it seems has some rather chaffed collars with maybe not so many smarts, but never mind it is good to see the lackey's of Power doing their bidding, is the head of the GOP a grand dragon?

You know, I hate to say it, but I think obama is the man of choice simply because he's black.

The grammatical construct "the antichrist" is incorrect. It should read "an antichrist". In my way of thinking there is no one antichrist. Antichrist means exactly that "against Christ" therefore any one who actively denies the existence of the Messiah, note that antichrist doesn't say anti-Jesus, can be categorized as an antichrist. This denial doesn't have to be in words, in fact, would be much more effective if hidden behind the face of faith. The antichrist would hold a position of power and would use that power in such a way to be contrary to the purpose and teachings of the Christ. The antichrist would use that power to start wars, sanction torture, destroy homes, obliterate economies, spread terror, diminish faith, etc. There have been many antichrists in this world and will be others as well. Some of those being Nero, Henry the VIII, Napoleon, Hitler, and the most recent George W. Bush. Obama should not even be on the list yet, although he is a candidate since he has not made good on any of his promises so far, i.e. the war in Iraq still wages on, Guantanamo is still open, there is still no public health care system in the US, the economy is still in a recession, however, to be fair to Obama he did not start nor cause any of this.
